Biennale 8 x 8 Public Programme

As part of the collaborative process of the 8 x 8 program, artists are encouraged to formulate a creative public programme for people of all sizes and ages to come and learn a little more about the works and the philosophies behind them. This helps the audiences to understand the works but also is meant to be a lot of fun too.

Dzenita Semic and myself are putting on a wee little show on August the 18th at 2pm and we would love you all to be there. What we are aiming to do is create an additional piece for our art

work which will combine the memories of all those who attend. What will the final piece resemble? Who knows. It will all depend on the people who attend.

So what we need from you is to find an item from your childhood. Could be a teddy bear, floral dress, action figure, stamp collection or simply just a photo. Then get your good looking booties down to Casula Powerhouse on August 25th at 2pm where we will all work together to collage them into one big nostalgic mess. Should be a tonne of fun so bring the family.
